Hello.

This is my Cave Story "Corruptor."

It shuffles the files around so that the game freaks out.


To use it, copy the contents of the 'CaveStory' folder in your game into the 
'out' folder 
so that Doukutsu.exe and the data folder are directly inside of 
'out.' 
(i'm not sure how ok it is to just distribute copies of cave story so i'm playing it safe)



THE BUTTONS:

------------

Corrupt TSC  - Shuffle things such as dialogue, door warps, music...

Corrupt NPCs - Shuffle the graphics used by entities

Corrupt Tiles - Shuffle the graphics used by tiles

Corrupt BKs - Shuffles the backgrounds

Corrupt Maps -

	TOGETHER - Tile data & entity data is kept together as map data is shuffled

	SEPARATE - Tile & entity data is shuffled separately, so maps will have the wrong entities

	PXEs ONLY - Only entities are shuffled, maps stay the same

	MAPS ONLY - Only maps are shuffled, entities stay the same

Intensity - What percent of files get shuffled. 100% is all files. 0% is 1/100 files.

CORRUPT - make it hapen



Notes:

Obviously, don't corrupt anything important. Copy the files, don't just move them.

You can only get so far from start point, so the 'profiles' folder has a bunch of saves in it
to continue from. (i just grabbed any saves i had on my computer so the names aren't very 
descriptive...)

The 'in' folder contains the "clean" files the corruptor uses to corrupt from.

Feel free to change those or add more for some more variety or something.



I haven't been able to get good results with the map corruption so maybe don't use that too much.
